Hello, and thank you for your interest in the Hunter McGuire Lower School of Stuart Hall.Founded in 1987 as an independent elementary school, Hunter McGuire is proud to join the Stuart Hall educational legacy begun in 1844. As a PreK-12, co-educational day and a grade 8-12, girls’ domestic and international boarding program, Stuart Hall offers a college-preparatory curriculum that seeks to educate the whole child – mind, body, heart, and spirit. Located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia on a ten-acre campus in Verona,HunterMcGuireLowerSchool serves families from Harrisonburg, Staunton, andWaynesboro.
